Advance reservations are highly recommended, particularly during peak tourist times in St. Augustine. That said, we were able to join a tour without booking ahead when we visited in January.

Chocolate Samples
We’ve visited many chocolate factories and love seeing how each one is unique, from the equipment to the candy selection but the best part is always the sampling!
The chocolate factory tour included delicious tastings of milk, dark, and white chocolate, plus homemade Oreo fudge.
Our Favorite Whetstone Chocolates
We loved the DeLeon 47% dark chocolate, milk chocolate toffee crunch, and Milk Chocolate Valencia Orange.
The Menendez 72% Dark Chocolate was unexpectedly smooth and rich (not bitter at all).
After the tour, you will have the opportunity to shop for chocolates, ice cream, coffee, and gifts. We walked away with a box of their delicious chocolate caramels and bags of assorted chocolate shells.
We bought more chocolates from the downtown, Historic District, store later in the week, but the factory store has fresher options.
